dowel wood
A wooden dowel is a solid cylindrical rod, made of Birch wood.
In its original manufactured form, a wooden dowel is called a dowel rod.
Dowel rods can be cut into short lengths called dowel pins. Birch wooden
dowels are employed in numerous, diverse applications including as axles
in toys and structural reinforcements in cabinet making.
Birch wood
is hard and durable, it is used for furniture, paneling, dowels, tool
handles, and ladders. All birch dowel woods are 36 inches long and come
in many different thicknesses, from 1/16 up to 1 inch dowel rods.
FEATURES: Birch round wooden rods, sticks. Great for all
hobbies, crafts, miniatures, and architectural projects Unfinished. Cut
to desired length. Carve a specific design. May be stained or painted.
